When a client exhibits at a Trade Fair, a preview release is prepared in advance and issued, generally with a good colour photograph, to all relevant publications. At the venue itself, complete press packs are written and produced for the journalists who attend. If the exhibition is in the UK or Europe, the agency’s attendance at the show is generally considered important in order to liaise with the press and promote the contents of the press pack and the newest products being shown.
Press Conferences for key product launches, franchise agreements or significant acquisitions have also been conducted on behalf of client companies at a number of major exhibitions including the Farnborough and Paris Airshows as well as Electronica in Germany.
